  • Eligibility criteria: Bachelor's degree (4 years program) in Civil / Structural / Construction / Allied Engineering and Architecture disciplines with at least 55% marks or 5.5/10 CPI.
  • Minimum of 2 years of full time work experience (You need not be currently employed to be eligible).

    To introduce the basic components of analysis of vibration in mechanical systems. Designing against vibration induced loading and reduction of vibration. Familiarity with case studies involving instrumentation and field measurements will also be kept in mind.
  • Corrosion in Engineering Materials and Prevention
    The course emphasizes on the need for understanding the corrosion in materials from scientific and engineering perspectives. After briefly covering the thermodynamics and kinetics of corrosion, engineering corrosion aspects will be discussed by citing several examples of corrosion failures and ways to protect the material for corrosion mitigation. The course also explores the corrosion aspect of engineering materials used in civil engineering and structures.
